IT Service Week 2018: Putting the magic into your service desk!
1st – 5th October 2018
Grab your service desk colleagues, your IT Wizards and your Customer Service Sorcerers to make enchanted plans on how you will celebrate and promote your service during this magical event!
We’ve come up with a plan for each day of the week, you can get involved in all of them, choose a few or create your own!
1st October: Decorate your office for IT Service Week! Use our download pack (which will be available soon) and the Magic-Service-Desk Starter Kit, or buy and make your own decorations- use your ‘imagic-nation!’ Get involved in the social media competitions and activities we hold. Who can do the best magic trick?- Don’t forget to share photos and videos with @sdi_institute #ITSW18
2nd October: Have a bake off! Get colleagues to make cakes and bring in treats, you could even sell them and raise money for a charity. You could turn it into a competition and see who makes the best ‘magically’ decorated cake, or you could invite customers/other departments to the service desk to join in the fun.
3rd October: Dress up day! Who’s service desk will win the best Magic themed fancy dress competition? Tip – with Halloween nearing, witch and wizard costumes may be in the shops! Post photos of your team to be in with a chance of winning! @sdi_institute #ITSW18
4th October: Do something nice for a helpful colleague, thank someone you’ve received good service from, leave a note on someones desk, buy a colleague a cup of tea or send a nice email… anything goes! Good Service is worth shouting about! Show us any nice things you’ve received or sent and use the hashtags #ThoughtfulThursday #ITSW18
5th October: Celebrate your fantastic service desk and all the work you do! Tell customers about something great you’ve done, maybe your Customer Satisfaction scores are soaring, maybe this ITSW you raised £100 for charity, maybe last month your first time fix was 95%. Shout about your achievements and we will share them too! @sdi_institute #ITSW18
