SDI is pleased to announce that we will be adding several new ITIL4® courses to our training portfolio over the next few months. SDI has offered ITIL4® Foundation since launch in 2019 and on 24 August 2020 we will be holding our very first ITIL4® Managing Professional Transition Module certification course.
About ITIL4® Managing Professional
The ITIL4® Managing Professional transition module is designed to allow ITIL v3 candidates who have already invested to easily transition across to ITIL4®. They can gain the designation of ITIL4® Managing Professional via one course and one exam.
Designed to give a deep understanding of the key concepts of the ITIL4® framework to enable successful management of modern IT-enabled services, the transition module also allows service professionals to recognise their previous achievements while still gaining the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital service economy.
The module will provide information on the key elements of the following modules from ITIL4® Managing Professional:
- ITIL4® Specialist Create, Deliver and Support
- ITIL4® Specialist Drive Stakeholder Value
- ITIL4® Specialist High Velocity IT
- ITIL4® Strategist Direct Plan and Improve
The course will also provide an introduction and cover the key concepts found in ITIL4® Foundation.
Ensure your V3 study remains relevant and up-to-date
Become an ITIL® Managing Professional by taking the transition module. All candidates must be at Expert level or have a minimum of 17 v3 credits. Candidates can continue to collect their v3 Intermediate or Practitioner credits to enable them to be eligible to take the transition module.
Adding to SDI’s ITIL4® Portfolio
In the second half of 2020, SDI also plans to launch three more new ITIL4® modules:
ITIL4® Specialist Create, Deliver and Support
ITIL4® Specialist Drive Stakeholder Value
ITIL4® Strategist Direct Plan and Improve
The lead author of ITIL4® Specialist Create, Deliver and Support is SDI Board member, SDI consultant and service desk auditor Barclay Rae.
